A Christmas Carol, they snorted cocaine in the movie?
A few hours ago I found myself in the cinema watching the new "A Christmas Carol" movie. Now im ready to report something i noticed. While watching it I noticed it was a good animated movie, but rather boring. But the main thing that really amazed me is that the fat characters in the movie snorted cocain with their little boxes. In the scene you see a couple of fat characters bring out a little metal can. When they opened the little can they started sniffing and snorting something really fast. AND the Movie is Walt Disney!!! lol if they smoked pot then it would be ok.
I find it odd, that a couple people essentially said "it's not cocaine it is TOBACCO" as if it should be acceptable..
honestly while I watched the movie, I thought the same thing, cocaine. They lived in the 1940's, why wouldn't they indulge in some cocaine?
Now, I didn't find it to be all that offensive, it's not like any of the kiddies caught on. Even if they noticed "what was that man doing?" I doubt the thought stayed in their minds...
HOWEVER, i brought it up in conversation at work, and my co-worker told me of the snorted version of tobacco. Sounds sick!

Animated Movies To Enjoy
People love to watch movies. There are many types of movies to choose from. One of the choices is animated movies. Within these films you can find action and adventure, friendship, characters working towards a common goal as well as excellent music and beautiful photography
Animated movies have a rather long history. The idea was generated back in the 1800's. And the famous Thomas Edison had a hand in their origination. He researched the idea of motion pictures and created a device that projected film.
In more recent times, Walt Disney had a huge hand in their progression. Now, animation is computer-generated. Many animated movies have even won prestigious awards. And, animation is improving all the time.
Entire families can enjoy animated movies. Smaller children will love the color in these movies. Parents can watch how their children react to the animation. Family movie night with an animated movie is a great way to get the family together, watching something that can be educational, action-packed, or just plain fun.
Many of these movies have become classics. Walt Disney Studios has more animated movies than any other studio. The animation in Disney movies is legendary.
A lot of these movies have an animal-theme. Madagascar and The Wild are two movies that have many different kinds of animals working together to solve a problem. The movie Spirit shows how one animal can conquer all.
Some movies use the beauty that is under the oceans to give us breathtaking color and animation. Finding Nemo, Shark Tales and SpongeBob SquarePants are a few animated movies that will entertain all ages. Other movies animate everyday items. Cars and Toy Story give voices to objects that appeal to all ages. Movies such as Monsters, Inc. and Lilo and Stitch feature captivating characters that really are out of this world.
Action hero's are not forgotten in animation. The Incredibles and Tarzan are two very different animated action hero's. They have both had sequels that were successful.
The Christmas season has many films that have become classics. Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer has been watched during the holidays by generations. A Charlie Brown Christmas has also become a classic holiday animated movie. How the Grinch Stole Christmas has both animated versions as well as live versions. Even Halloween has some animated movies. Casper the Ghost and It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown are two popular animated movies that will fill you with the Halloween spirit.
Some movies have managed a successful combination of animation with live-action. Narnia, Enchanted, The Mask and Alice in Wonderland are a few examples of this combination. The most recent movie of this kind is Avatar. This movie combination is even changing the way animation is done.
Animation in movies has come a long way. And, it will continue to evolve. But, there is one predominate theme among them all. These movies will seem to come to life all on their own.
