Inflatable Christmas Arches

How to replace light in christmas inflatable arch?

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to change the light bulb in our inflatable christmas arch? One side is lit and the other side is out? I do not want to throw it out just because of this issue but only having half of it lit makes it look funny. Please help me find a solution to this problem, we purchased this arch a few years ago and this year the light is burnt out. Everyone comments on how good the decorations look every year and this year I don't want to take the arch away. I have looked for a zipper but I am unable to find one, if their is one can you suggest where I should look.

Sounds like you'd better call an electrician.

Candyland Party Theme - Ideas to Create Sweet Success!

These fun Candyland party theme ideas are great for creating a super sweet Candyland Birthday Party. With so many bright colors and cute characters, the possibilities are endless.

CANDYLAND PARTY THEME INVITATIONS

Start with an extra-large colorful lollipop and wrap it in light pink, blue, yellow, or green cellophane. Tie coordinating curling ribbons onto the stick. Place a large, white address label containing all the party information on the back of the lollipop. Add a fun Candyland sticker on the front and hand-deliver your invitations to your guests.

Suggested Wording For Invitation

Lollipop, lollipop,
Sweet as can be.
come help me celebrate
A party for me.

You Won't Want To Miss A Lick!

COSTUMES

In lieu of having guests wear a costume, create candy crowns for everyone to wear. Cut gold card stock into thirds and use your child's head as a guide for creating the crown size. Glue hard candies, lollipops, gumdrops, jelly beans, etc. to the crown.

CANDYLAND PARTY THEME DECORATIONS

Use a painter's plastic drop cloth as your foundation to create a Candyland path for your guests to follow to your front door. Cover entire drop cloth with various colored squares. You can use construction paper, poster board, cardstock, or cut up various colored plastic tablecloths to make your squares. Glue squares to drop cloth and you're good to go!

Create the Rainbow Trail with a rainbow balloon arch. You can make your frame out of PVC pipe, aluminum or plastic rods. Your arch will ultimately have to be attached to the wall, ceiling, or create a base to provide the necessary support and hold it in place. Air-filled balloons last longer than helium-filled. So, you'll either need lots of mouths to blow them up or an air compressor. You will need about 4-6 balloons for each foot of frame. If possible, set-up frame in actual location while attaching balloons to the arch. If not, then lay frame flat. Inflate 4 balloons. Tie 2 necks together with heavy nylon thread. Cross the pairs of balloons at the necks and twist to form a cluster of 4. Place the cluster at one end of the arch and wrap 1 balloon around the frame. Then twist it around another balloon to hold the cluster in place. Continue this process until entire arch is filled with balloons.

If the timing is right and you can find an after Christmas sale, pick-up some candy cane yard stakes and line your walkway with them.

Make colorful signs that say, "Molasses Swamp," "Gumdrop Mountain Pass," "Lollipop Woods," and "Candy Cane Forest" and hang them on your party walls.

Paint metal buckets with various colors and weight them down with beans. Fill with brightly colored large spiral lollipops and balloons. Camouflage the beans with "puffs" of colored tissue paper.

CANDYLAND PARTY THEME FOODS

Gramma Nutt Nuggets - Chicken nuggets.

Mr. Mint's Mac & Cheese - Prepare your favorite Mac & Cheese recipe. Add red, blue, or green food coloring to create a fun color.

Lolly's Fruit & Cheese Platter - Cut various fruits and cheeses into bite-sized pieces. Soak apples in lemon juice so they don't turn brown. Use toothpicks with red, blue, green, or yellow tops.

CANDYLAND PARTY THEME CAKE

Rainbow-Shaped Cake - Make cake in a rainbow-shaped pan and frost it white. Create rainbow of colors with rows of Skittles.
