Can some one help me figure out this Disney Movie?
I can't remember exactly what happened, but it's about a princess that is kidnapped by Frogs or some kind of creature like that (I'm not trying to find the Princess and the Frog) and she is like forced to dance and sing for them (or they will eat her [if im not mistaken] ). There is also a man searching for her so that he can save her. Honestly that is all that i can remember. This movie is from the early 90's and I want to say it might have something to do with the animated nutcracker that they used to play at Christmas time every year? Or maybe it was made around the same time. If anyone knows what nutcracker I am talking about, then I would be glad to know about that too ^^

Popular Christmas Ballets for All to Enjoy
The Christmas holidays include spending time with family and showing them how much they are appreciated. An excellent way to do this is for family members to attend one or more popular Christmas ballets which both awe and inspire. This is especially rewarding if there happens to be a dancer in the family.
The Nutcracker is, by far, the most popular ballet during the Christmas season. It is the celebration of a Christmas Eve festive fairytale which centers on a small tree which transforms into a large Christmas tree by the end of the ballet. At one point, dancers dressed as snowflakes swirl upon a winter's ice covered lake with a snow white background.
Children especially love this amazing performance as it includes a variety of magical characters which are animated through talented dancers which poetically strive in the exciting tale of good versus evil. Children's imaginations are peaked as they watch with wide eyes and bated breath while the valiant Nutcracker Prince struggles against the antics of the Mouse King.
Other excellent holiday ballet choices come from the creative mind of Matthew Bourne who excels at creating exciting fairytale style productions that captivate young and old audiences alike. Some of his well known ballets include such household names as Swan Lake, Cinderella and Edward Scissorhands. These magical ballet productions are often performed during the holidays and are becoming an ever increasing holiday tradition in many parts of the world.
There are other ballets which are worth considering during the holiday season, but are not quite as popular. Les Patinurs (The Skaters), for instance, is a mesmerizing tale set in the beauty of an English winter and is full of festive Christmas music and tinkling bells. Choreographed by Fredrick Ashton, this production has been pleasing holiday audiences since 1937 when it was first performed by the Royal Ballet.
Ballets which offer a Christmas appeal are selected to be performed during the Christmas holidays, and they also are chosen to provide pleasure and enjoyment to a full range of onlookers. They are colorful and vibrant, containing whimsical characters in stunning wardrobes.
